  • The "Technischer Arbeitsschutz und Anlagensicherheit" (Technical Occupational Safety and Health and Plant Safety) subcommittee (UA 4) at the "Länderausschuss für Arbeitsschutz und Sicherheitstechnik" (Laender High Joint Committee of Labour Inspection Services) has drawn up a set of  Guidelines on the "Betriebssicherheitsverordnung"  (Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health), providing comprehensive guidance on how to implement the Ordinance.
  • The chambers of industry and commerce in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) have teamed up with the NRW OSH Authority and the Düsseldorf Chamber of Trades and Crafts to bring out a CD-ROM entitled "Umsetzungshilfe zur Betriebssicherheitsverordnung" (Guidance on implementing the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health). The CD-ROM is an electronic manual, documentation tool and guide all rolled into one.

  • "Eckpunkte zu Arbeitsschutzmanagementsystemen (AMS)"  (Guidelines on OSH Management Systems): official notice by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (which became the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour in October 2002) on 1 February 1999 - IIIb 2 36004 - in the "Bundesarbeitsblatt" (Federal Labour Gazette) 2/1999, p. 43ff. The guidelines describe the German concept of OSH management systems.
